I just put the order in with the moco this weekend for about 2K worth of new parts. One of them (4 actually) is blacked out turn sigs. No more chrome. But i'm wondering when i install the turn sigs, are they plug and play or will i need to strip and weld to replace?

strich, I haven't seen the blackparts you ordered, but,
should be a simple remove and replace operation.

mud,
they're just the basic blacked out HD turn sigs. I don't have the part numbers on hand, but it's just a replacement for the shiny stuff. Thanks for the link to the tut. It seems pretty simple. I'll give it a go. I'm not sure that i've got any 16 gague wire laying around. Will a pick do for that purpose? I guess this all just takes more patience than it does anything else. I guess with replacing 4 of these, we'll see how patient i really am.
thanks for the info, i'll let you know how it turned out.
