I made my own too. Custom 2 5/8". Perfect tank angularity and look I was hoping to achieve. A little more than the 2" but not quite 3" which I thought starated to look odd on my '02Softail. I'm totally pleased with the outcome of my homemade version. All I had to do was remake my tank cross over hose that fits outside the front of my down tubes due to clearance and so as not to stress the tank fittings.

Total cost, time and material, about $15.00. Sure makes cleaning alot easier and the look is just whatthe doctor ordered. Don't have any before and afters, but I can send them via pm if anyone is interested.

I ordered Jackyl's 2"lift Thursday night, got it today at 2:45 and was complete at 3:10. I did have a little trouble with the overflo tube butI managed to get enough out of it to be ok. The only suggestion I can add is to make sure you turn your crossover line a bit so it doesn't hit the frame and wear thru and swap the rear seat acorn with the nylon nut Jackyl sends with the lift. And oh, cover your heads and tank before you start wrenching....scratches and dings suck. Before pics below and after pics on next post.

TRun, what type of Air Cleaner is that?

The bike looks great, BTW.

It's a SE backplate, with a (dirty) K&N filter, and a WS6 A/C cover done by mudpuddle

Thanks!

OK, that's what I thought. Definitely recognized the Mud Mod.

Does the SE filter plate have a place for the PCV's (or whatever they're called)?

There's a couple little rubber pieces that close off the air flow out back, not sure they count as PCV valves, maybe they do

Hmmm, not sure if I put it correctly.
I was referring to the oil blowby tubes that are in my OEM AC.
