I understand that most Europeans pay a ton of taxes on gas (in the 3.00 to 4.00 dollar range).
The good thing about high gas prices is that we will become less dependant on foreign oil and the roads will be filled with motorcycles and less big trucks and SUVs. Sounds like heaven to me. Lets hope we can keep our jobs in a have-less economy.

Got you all beat by a mile. I'm on a business trip through Southern BC and right now in Kelowna BC regular is $1.22 a litre. That works out to $4.61 for a US gallon. Gotta love living in Canada!

Paid 3.89 day before yesterday for 91 in Los Angeles.
News says it's supposed to crest the 4 dollar mark this summer.
I doubt its going to wait that long.
Cant wait to see the trickle down effect when the cost of doing business reaches the consumer level.
Whats next, 6 bucks for a gallon of milk?
I wonder if I can convert the SG to run on beer?

Forget the gas...it's the diesel that hurts.....$4.00 a gallon now and going up....cost me over $100.00 to fill up yesterday.......but it's all those big trucks that hurt....almost everything you buy is delivered by truck and prices on everything are going up because of it.......
