MSF Class! Check with your dealer, they can point you in the right direction and you can get that class under your belt before you take delivery. You can ride one of their training motorcycles, and if you drop it, you dropped a training bike, and not your new scooter!
Statistics prove it: if you have a motorcycle endorsement and a safety class under your belt, you are very likely NOT to become a statistic.

Thanks LT,
Spokane HD dealer does not offer the MSF, in North Idaho, they are limited as well, I am in for May 16.
I am lucky to live in an area I can do some practice sessions on my own, with very limted exposure prior to the course. Planning on easing in to the experience over the next month and a half. My commute is 10 miles of prarire roads, that just got paved 3 years ago, so very limited traffic. I appreciate everyones support and recomendations!
Happy Trails~
Welcome and Congratulation, Grizzbare.
Nice scooter you got there.
Take it slow and easy till you get used to it, then......................" ride it like ya stole it"
Ride Safe,
Looking for advice, as a fairly green rider, engine guards recomended? I prefer the lines without, but logic is saying good plan, and can be removed later...
happy trails
