Ive got the T-Max with Auto tune on my 2oo7 FXDWG along with Arlen Ness Big Sucker A/C and a D&D 2into1 FatCat exhaust system.
Ive Just returned from racetrack and got a best time of 13.6 Seconds down the 1/4 Mile.
What cam selection would you recommend that would compliment my current system/ combination, to help me better this time. (Was thinking of sticking with ThunderMax Cams by Red Shift)
and what other mod/ part selection would you recommend that will help on the track as well as the street?
92-100+hp = SE heads, Woods Cams, Hi compression pistons, Dyno tune, roller rockers, roller rocker supports, gaskets, don't need a throttle body but a good thing to get
107+ hp = big bore 103"with everything listed above throttle body needed
115+ hp = 110" for really high hp builds SE flywheel recommended, and everything above need
all builds need new clutch spring
prices can range very much depending where you wanna go
If only cams you might want to look at Andrews 54H....over on the v-twin forums you can find out a lot of info....gobs of riders are giving big props to these cams in the 96 incher......and for what it is worth GMR just punched my 06 bob out to 98 incher ported the heads and put in these new 54H cams. Just something to look into
All I can tell you on the 54H is that all the performance builders got their hands on them in early Feb....as I noted above GMR threw mine in the third week of Feb......I would think you can call Andrews or I think the dealers can get them if your going to have them do the install....the 54H is real hot right now and they might be hard to get your hands on.
good luck
