If you know what you are looking for, ebay is a good place. There are several dealers that sell things there. One to look out for is Eastern Performance. I've spent a lot of money on my bike but I've also saved quite a bit by buying that way. J&P has it all but you can pretty much expect to pay full retail for anything you buy.

+1 - best way is to find what you want in those fat catalogs, then go shopping on eBay and also check out sales. Also had good luck for price and service with Eastern Performance, Phat Peformance and Motorcycle Accessories Warehouse.

Is Eastern Peformance good or bad to look out for?

Exactly! I keep current J&P, HD P&A, and Kuryakyn catalogs handy anduse them to reference what I search for on ebay motors. The money I've saved buying from ebay vs. buying from retail sources is literally in the hundreds of dollars at this point.

EP is my first option. Great seller with great service and prices, IMO. I look for them first and then others if they don't have what I want.

And often has free shipping - hard to beat if they got what you "need". Never had a problem with them!

+1 on the above references and add 1 more, Zanotti's out of Butler, PA. Great service, great discounts, and they'll work with you over the phone. Highly recommend these folks.
