Vance/hines short shot staggered BLACK back ordered
I have been on a waiting list since mid December for Vance and Hines shot shot staggered black. I know the pipes are going out because I have seen them on other Dynas If you have them on your bike could you tell me when you ordered them and how long it took. I know that Vance Hines Is having a problem with getting the pipes coated but I want to know if the people in the colder states are getting their pipes last and the warmer are getting theirs first. FYI April 7th is the back order date.

Did you go though your harley davidson dealer? I went with a local shop here in town and got the Chrome short shots in 3 business days. I love the peformance and sound of the Short Shots. I went with Arlen Ness stage 1 Big Sucker. Well, I hope you are not being played with. Have you tried ordering online? I have had a few friends order them and have them in less than 2 days. They are easy to install.

I went to the stealer so they could check Drag online to see when they would be in stock. They said "oh yeah drag will be getting them in tomorrow so come back then and we will hook you up." I went back and the date was just changed on the back order date. HAH I got suckered. but I just went ahead and got the reg SS and I am going to wrap them..

performance of the short shots?!!! - sorry, but who are you kidding?
Short shots are only good for top end and rob your bike of mid range and bottom end.
I certainly would be getting 2-1 exhaust.

I'm feeling the same pain[:@][:@][:@] I ordered a set of the Black Short Shots on Dec 7th from my local stealer.........a couple weeks ago, I was told Mar 15 so I called today and they are still not in. The stealer said they would call the supplier for an update and call me back...........still waiting on that call

I called around trying to get a set for my bike as well. They all said that they are on back order and had no idea of when they would be coming in. A few places said that they were going to be receiving about 10 to 15 units but had about 80 or so people on a waiting list. So I got the chrome ones instead. Coundn't wait for them. I called up V&H and asked if they were going to be selling just the heat shields. Their response was more toward the end of the year or so.

just do like I did....I bought the chrome ones and then had the heat shields powder coated.

Ordered mine from More Power Racing on Feb. 28. They told me sometime in March. I emailed them last Friday and they said they were receiving some the 17th or 18th and to check back. I did this morning and guess what. Now I am told it will be the middle of April. I think I am going to go a different direction. Good Luck to everyone waiting.
