Now like all of you with an 06 Dyna, I had my fuel injectors replaced, due to the recall. I had them replaced when I bought the bike. I think the my bike had all of 10 miles on her. Since that time, I have not had any problems with the fuel injectors. Now at 24,865 miles, I'm starting to hear a noticible hissing sound coming from the engine. The sound does not happen all the time.
I am pretty sure that it is coming from the injectors, because one day while I was riding to work, the bike started to loose speed at 85. Now cruising at 85 is a regular thing for me, as I am keeping up with traffic. So I kinda did a pucker when the bike gave a slight shudder and lost about 10 miles an hour. Now that may not seem like alot for most, but cruising in california it is down right dangerous. Just for the simple fact that the cage behind you is comming up fast!
I was able to shift lanes to the slow lane. I pulled on the clutch and let my hand off the throttle. The bike sounded and felt normal. So I got back on the throttle and went on my way without another problem.
Now my question is, has anyone heard of injectors going bad? Or even better, has anyone had to replace their injectors on their Dyna?
I'm also still running the 8's without problem. My bike was dieing on me a bit last summer. I found the problem to be a loose ground wire. Might want to check all the simple stuff first.
I took mine it to be replaced and harley told me that with the SERT they will not replace them as the SERT controls the spray... weird, anything behind that?

That is total BS as the tuning constants for the injectors in the SERT is written into the base map for BOTH 8 degree and 25 degree injectors are the same volume (3.91gm/sec). The V477 comes with both maps one for 8's and one for 25's

Which one?
Right on the battery. Bolt was only hanging on by a thread. Now I loc-tite my battery cables and haven't had a problem yet.
