I have want to put some new wheels on my low rider for quite some time (hate the mags!). This spring I would like to pull the trigger. Only problem is how much do I want to spend. Laced wheels would probably be the least expensive option, but I prefer a custom chrome wheel
Here are the options I have come up with:
1. Swap narrow trees for wide-glide trees.Purchase six spoke wheel from harley. 21" front, 17" rear. Chrome front end package. All parts are currently 20% off. With labor will cost about $2500 http://www.harley-davidson.com/dwp/g...bmLocale=en_US
2. Order custom renegade nightmare wheels withpulley and rotors. total packagecost about$3000 + laborinstall.
I love both of these wheels, so I personally think option 1 is the way to go.
