for what ist worth, just call me stupid. I forgot I had my rear shocks set at 4 from packing the ole lady on a bad road, tonight I put them at 2, ran the same corner just under 80. I was in the left lane and passing cars and then turned into the right lane. Wasnt too bad, but I still wont try it any faster without some mods.
All the stabalizing mods look interesting, I saw the stabilizer that goes on the front the other day, havent personally seen the others.

And what about Race Tech's Gold Valve Cartridge Emulators for Dyna front forks? Anyone use these or know anything about them? Or they worth the $170?
(Well, I guess you could make the case if they keep you from the high speed wobbles in a high speed turn they're worth it...)

I really should seriously consider this but still clinging to that youthful thought that I'm tough enough ! I should know better at my age.

Broke double figures today so heading in the right direction ...if it would only stop rainingI can really try the new Metzlers .

Guess your basking in glorious sunshine....enjoy

I could brag but then you would accuse me of being mean again! LOL

If it'll make you feel any better, tomorrow I have to work in the yard. No riding for me! (But then again, the pool is in the back yard) [sm=yeahsmile.gif]

I got my handling issue under control. Bob is doing much better, but I still am looking to inprove.
Scooter Wench, you could probly do that corner now at around 80 or so, you sound like you like to twist em.
TARTAN2, what (exacly model N size) Mets did you put on? I was thinking of going that route. How do you like em compared to the Dunlops that came on, and how much they set you back?

" get another bike without a HD badge on it."

Get real, you can make a harly do well in the corners, it just dont come that way.

LOL, when we were at bike week last month (earlier this month) we went to the speedway infield and they were racing. I was looking at those bikes flying around the turns and I was thinking to myself, "that looks like fun!" LOL Now keep in mind, I am not one for rollercoasters or any other amusement park rides, but give me a fast/powerful car or fast/powerful bike? Yum!

I changed my fork oil today from stock E 5 wt (useless) to Screaming Eagle Performance Heavy, says not for street use. Biggest ride ability change I have made, bike handles and turns much better. Common corners negotiate better by far and road and fast corners are much improved as well.
I would suggest anybody running hard corners on a new Bob or any other that HD put 5 wt in to at least go to 15 wt, you wont regret it.
My corner of frustration ran a smooth 68 + or - with just a hard lean, I wasn't going to push it, that corner kinda has me spooked.
One thing I worry about is Bob like to grab a little pavement when I lean heavy, that can be tough sometimes.
I don't have the money right now to do any whoopie doo suspension or frame work so this will have to suffice for now.
Really is a great improvement though.[/align]
