Having an issue guys. I want to buy a sissy bar (with every thing) for under 250.00. Doesn't look like that is going o happen. Harley sells thier for 320 (everything). The only problem with that is t only comes in chrome. I have the denim black Bob. JP, JC, and Drag do not sell **** for my 2007. To make even more fun I want a detchable. The only time I will put it on is when mamma rides.
I would just keep an eye on ebay... my girl wanted one... so i told her to buy it... SHE DID!!! i was so supprised! then she bought her own bike... i flipped the hardware upside down and attached it to some saddle bags... works great!... every now and then she likes to get on back with me so i toss it on... if you can track down some side plates you can bend your own bar... I have never done it but seen it done 1000 times...
Have you looked at Zanotti motors? Just doing a rough estimate of the H-D wrinkle black stuff, to include a backrest pad, you can get all of what you need for less than $250, including shipping.
you can get the uprights and such in black only problem is that the side plates can be bought in black from HD also but i think it says they only fit up to 2005.
I would go to the dealer have them pull one out and compare it to one of the ones they claim fits and 07 may not be much difference.
Built my for around 100. $50 or so was labor I had to pay to someone eles to do some cutting. Depending on your ability and tools you and make your own.
Look at the mount made by one of the forum sponser's, the Haulen ***. Another similar type mount is the Kuryakyn Plug N Play. You should be able to do either one of these and powder coat for $250.00. A forum member, MetalMike, has helped out guys with some powder coating.
E-bay. Got mine ,detachable plates, sissy bar and pad $150.00.Check it out they have quite a variety and some good deals also.
Thats what I was about to say. I got mine also on Ebay for a quite a deal $110 , not detachable but still a great savings over Harley, and to boot it was all Harley parts in there original boxes.
