Ditto, normal after being exposed to a lot of moisture. Have noticed on mine only after riding in a considerable amount of rain but I imagine it could be an issue after washing as well. It will go away. To speed it up, let it sit out in the sun.

My fuel gauge has been fogged over for the last 7 or 8 years!! (98' wide glide) I can still read it,and it hasn't changed for the worse... I just got used to it.

I haven't seen one yet that doesn't. Just part of that new technology. Doesn't seem to cause any problem and goes away fairly quick.

It is "normal" as long as it's not too bad. My '96 FXDL did it really bad after some jack monkey that grew up on a steady diet of paint chips and qualudes tried to "open" the fuel gauge to fill the tank..I was able to fix that with a new gaskit kit. But as everyone here has stated, some moisture is normal. Usually it's condensation. Find some sun and ride it.....
