Hey everyone I am new to these forumns. I just bought my first Harley - 2007 Dyna Street Bob - and will pick it up when I finish my current deployment. I was looking at an exhuast to put on before I pick it up and wanted to know if anyone had any expierence with this setup or any advice on an old school style exhuast -- http://www.jpcycles.com/productdetai...ge=&search=. Loud is good but I dont want any engine trouble. Also can anyone recomend a cheap but functional 2 up seat? I am looking at the pillion pads and rear peg kit rite now. Thanks and its good to see all the military riders here.
May I take this time to thank you for your service to this great nation? Thank you!
On to the scoot. I just put Cobra pipes on my '07 Street Bob. They're absolutely awesome! But I wouldn't say they're cheap. I don't have engine problems and it runs strong but I may get it dyno'd for piece of mind.
What's up brother, first off, send me a PM and tell me where you are, I myself am bacl for third and hopfully last tour. I recently bought some V&H bigshot staggereds on line for about 400 bucks, if you can just shop around and find the best deal. I have gotten loads of information reading all the posts on the forum and made the choice without looking twice.. Again let me know where you are , Would enjoy talking with ya Street_Bob_Rick

First, my family and I Thank You for your service to the USA.
Secondly, Congratulations on your new acquisition. You'll love your Bob.
Thirdly, Welcome to the forums. You'll have a great time here.
I have no idea on that particulliar exhaust. Are you really into the trumpet style exhaust?
As for seats, p-pad will be your cheapest route. But they're not the most comfortable for your passenger.
A decent 2-up seat will cost you probably $300+, unless you can find somebody on here or a eBay deal.
Hope this is some help.
Stay Safe,
Hey man congrats on your new bike and thanks for serving!
I would take your time and look around here at different bikes and get some opinions on seats and pipes. Try out the search function at the bottom of the page and you'll be able to narrow down some info quickly.
Also, while J&P has a great catalog and decent service, their prices are high and many here go to ebay and other places like eastern performance, jireh cycles, and the like.
If you just want some slip on mufflers to try out and get some good sound, I have some Cycle Shack baloney cut slip ons that you can have for the cost of shipping plus one knock off Baghdad HD t-shirt :-)
I hope this email see's you safe. Ex DOC with Marines 1995-2000 If you are coming back to pendleton I live a couple hrs. North and have a few sets of pipes for a dyna. But these do not have an o2 sensor I could sell them pretty cheap with heatshields for 150 bucks sampson down/outs or used to be called street sweepers similar to the post above. I also have a set of HOOKER race pipes for 96 inches and up sweet sound like a top feul dragster. I am not up to speed on the new bikes and o2 sensors so ...... I am on a87 fxr. so theres a bit of difference from my bike evo/ new bikes twin cam efi o2 sensors ect...
