I wave to everyone, I used to not wave at mopeds but with the gas prices there has been a boost of mopeds around here. J/K.I have noticed that mostriders wave around here in NC.
No waving over here in the UK (unless it's my wife waving at kids in cars) but we do the friendly nod to other bikers. I don't sterotype anyone but it does appear to be Harley riders over here who do not nod back...not really sure why that is.
Over in France and the like they have a salute (2 fingers down low), or a lift of the left leg seems to also be a greeting.
Most of the time I do, BUT......when you spend more time waving than riding, it gets old quick! Instead of being what riding is IMO a wind in the face, knuckles in the air, kind of escape.....it ends up being a social thing.....it gets old after the first 500 bikes you pass!
