? about MOCO wheels
Thinking about buy a set of HD slotted six-spoke wheels in chrome pn 44058-07 , part of the wheel has a texture to it and part of it is smooth, was wondering how difficult is it polish and keep clean the textured part, does the wax get into the texture and become difficult to remove. Also has anybody bought the wheel installation kit and what come with it? Seems all I would need are the 2 bearings and the spacer sleeve which comes to about $46 and the MOCO wants $69 for the kit, so I was wondering if there was more to the kit the the 2 bearings and spacer.

Tell the dealer you are gonna buy the installation kit and would like to know what all comes with it and any special instructions. He can print you out the instruction sheet that comes with it, and it has a complete parts breakdown. It will come with more parts than you need for your install but it tells you which ones to discard. I am getting ready to put a Deuce rear wheel on my Custom and the dealer printed one out for me.
