Default wheel size for Vulcan kit

Ive got a '10 iron and I've been wanting to do the vulcan kit. I've been searching eBay and Craigslist for a cheap 2000+ 16" mag wheel, but I haven't had a whole lot of luck (not at the price range I'm looking at). Other than the bearings and the rotor being different is there any reason I wouldn't be able to get an older wheel to work for this kit?

I used '06 RoadKing wheels on my '07 883L (spokes). 1" bearings in the back and 3/4" bearings in the front...you will use 25mm in the rear and front.

The mag wheels are what is jacking the price...most go for spoked wheels which can be had cheaper. Would you be satisfied with something like these?

I was actually considering doing that too. I do prefer the look of the spoked wheels to the mags anyway. I would probably get them powdercoated, but I just don't really have experience with relacing, which is the part that I'm more worried about. I've got maybe 2k left on my original rubber and I was hoping to have everything I need by the time they need replacing.

Get a wide glide kit.
Most 16" wheels won't fit in a mid glide.
