I don't get some Bikers!
20LowRider02,
Not to hijack the thread, but did you get my reply to your PM?
With my network at work sometimes things don't get out too well.
Didn't want you to think I was ignoring you...
I'm far from an ordinary Insurance Claims Adjuster. Most atty's are taken back when I occassionaly swear! At my work my supervisor doesn't care and my manager is a joke, so noone really hassles me about anything.
On the what you wear to work theme

Saldy there is this strange idea that IT is only done by 18 year old geeks in shirts and ties with pens in their shirt pocket.
I used to be IT support for the Senior Execs and Board of Rolls-Royce Aerospace in the UK. I used to ride in every day on eitherMy Harley or My BMW GS. Depending on weaher it was either gortex rain gear or leather jacket/cut offand jeans. That used to get some looks from passers-by seing a biker ride towards the gates and security open them with out a second look.
Best time tho was when I had to fly to the states with them.A couple of theregoinal directors ride harleys as well. So we hadarranged too rent 3 bikes then do a ride out from scotsdale. Well as the IT guy, I had to carry 4 laptops and loads of kit soinstead of carrying My riding gear I wore it ( minusa helmet). So there I am sat in biz class in leathers. Gets to US boarder control at Pheonix airport to be asked by the guy "excuse meare you in a motor cycle club ?"And looked well weird when I said I wasthere on buisiness. The I get to customs and again I get you really here on buisness aso I pointed to all the well groomed suited and booted senior execs forRR and went see them I am their IT guy and they just wentoh thats alright then welcome to America
I also spent a year coverint he Lord Justices at the RCJ and again rode the bike to work every day, was cute having parking space for the harley at the Royal Courts of Justcie.
SaldyI got fecking promoted so now ride to work at the company head office still the only biker just trying to work out howgetting promoted actual means I get paid less ?
