I know a lot of us have dealt with them before so we already knew this about EP. I've toyed with the idea of an online business and have always thought this is the way it should be. The only way to stay in business, online or in person is good customer service and deliver ASAP. Have you ever watched or ordered anything from one of those TV infomercials and seen the fine print that says "allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery"? I've always asked myself, WTF?, 4 to 6 weeks - what, is it being delivered by pony express? I mean, you've got my money, you have my address, go slap a frickin label on the box and send it out the door the next time the brown truck pulls up.
Anyway, I discovered the other day that my LED tail light has somehow gotten cracked. Totally no way to explain it but, "stuff" happens. Of course, I want it fixed right away. I go to Kuryakyn's website, find the part number for what I want. The price is $120 plus shipping (another $10 at least I'm sure)and it would probably be a week before I would get it. No problem, I jump over the EP's website, put the part number in the search, the item comes right up and is on sale for $110 with free shipping. Not only is the shipping free, but I get an email less than 2 hours after buying it saying that the order status has been changed to "shipped". No BS about it being backordered or will ship in 2 or 3 days - just "shipped", done, finished, out the door. Sweet! Coming from PA, it should be here no later than Tuesday and possibly even Monday. Now, that's how to operate an online business!
Okay, I'm not even going to ask why Snappy is wearing a "raincoat". I just hope you aren't getting a little too friendly with him. LOL
Naaaaaaah.......... I got him that when he announced he was interested in dating some of the local Stanley tools. It also doubled as a raincoat when we went on some "extended" rides (bad weather).
