when my rear wheel was found to be bent, I tried to get the dealer to order a cast wheel for the replacement, but had no luck because they had ordered a new one already. So i hit ebay and bought a 13 spoke cast wheel for the rear, dropped it off yesterday to have it installed. Told em to check the front while they were at it. they called this morning, and said the front was bent too! I am so frustrated it ain't funny. one of the guys who works there said he had a 19 inch wheel that "sort of" matched the rear, so I am going with a cast front wheel and a 100/90/19 on the front. I am sure it won't be pretty... but if it gets the bike to stop shaking like all h_ll at 70+ mph, at this point I really don't care. I will post pics when I get it back.

 

I bentmy frontspoked rim on my Wide Glide, and switched out the to Haley's Thunderstar. Haven't had a problem with that. Still running spoked on the rear, but its pretty much out of view because of my bags.

Man, I can relate. I sent my bike in for a 20,000 service and they told me my front rim was bent. I have a road hazard policy so they're replacing it for free. Look for it for sale here or on ebay soon because my new cast wheel will be in next week. I'm installing Avon Cobra tires. the front will be a 120.70.21. Rear is a 180.55.18. Timing is everything. I don't mind a free new wheel. I just hate not having my scooter over the weekend.
