Default Straightening a bent mag wheel

Bent my front and rear switchblade wheels the other night. Wondering if anyone has ever had someone straighten/repair them. I see a few guys advertising online just looking for input.

Thanks
Chris

How the hell did you bend the front and rear?

F&@$ fixing them, use it as an excuse to buy new rims.

New wheel time. If you bend them back they will most likely crack. Must have been a bad pothole.

How did it happen? Guitar string break and wrap around a yield sign?

You can't post that you bent both wheels without providing the whole story....

How badly bent are we talking?

http://www.framestraight.com/

He works magic on wheels. The website is a bit hard to drill into but an absolute must see. He is the guy that repairs all the frames and wheels of the GP bikes you see doing cartwheels off the track. Amazing work! His name is John and he's just south of Knoxville, TN right at the start of The Dragon.

That can be repaired if you find someone that knows what they are doing, and if you can find someone that will actually take it on, not many out there. It takes a lot of finesse and a little heat but it can be done. May cost you about half of what new wheels would cost.

Worst case you could try it yourself and go with tubes.
