How many of you only have a spoke wheel in the front,and stock wheel in the back? I bought a 1998 FXD with a twisted spoke in front and stock cast aluminum in the rear.Ihave the original aluminum front wheel that I thought of putting back on. In your opinion,what would look better,spokes or cast aluminum? The bike is black and has plenty of chrome.

 

I like the looks of a spoker in front with a cast in rear.

 

I personally prefer the look of matching cast wheels as compared to the spoke on the front and the cast in the rear. Don't get me wrong, spokes on both ends would look best to me. Enough so, I would be looking for a laced rear wheel. I could never warm up to the cast on mine and changed them.

 

I run a 1200 Custom rear disc wheelin the back, all chromed from the factory, and a chromed 21" narrow hub spoke wheel up front. Easier to clean the rear up now.[&:] I like the looks of a spoke wheel up front.

SPOKED IN THE FRONT LOOKS BETTER THAN THE CAST. IMO OF COURSE
