13 spoke cast wheel to 9 spoke cast wheel conversion
I have a complete 2001 FXDX front end that I'm putting on my '92 FXRS with a 13 spoke cast wheel and I'd like to convert to a 9 spoke cast wheel to match the rear. The bearing diameter seems the same but I notice that there are some differences; one especially is in hub width between the rotors. Anybody have experience with this. Thanks much for the info, you guys are the bomb.

Can we clear something up here please? If you fit the FXDX front end complete you will have your '92 rear wheel and a '01 front wheel. So you would have different wheels! From that hypothetical situation, which wheel do you want to change?
