Default Rain suit

Anyone has advice or particular brand to suggest for a rain suit?

I have a First Gear, it has a bunch of good features for about $150 for both pieces. There were a couple of HD suits in the classified section.here on the forum.

It all packs into the jacket hood, as a little ball. I've had to use it a couple of times, and it has worked great!!

+1 to Harley's Canal Street rain suit. Need it on my commute to work.

HD Overpass II, MSRP $150, should be able to get a discount (HOG member?) or try one on at your local dealer and order from Chicago HD.

In my opinion, you do not go cheap on a rainsuit. Trust me, do not get a cheap Wal Mart type rainsuit. It is very difficult to get off your exhaust. Spend the money (should be $80 - $150), and get something made for motorcycles.

I've heard nothing but good about the HD suits. I picked up, I think, a caledonia for $140 last week; haven't used it yet, but the construction is good. A little more bulky than the canal street, so takes up a little more room - finally found a good use for unused space between my dtachable rack and my fender rack. Side note - picked up some goretex gloves from REI fro $40 last night for keeping the d-beaters dry.

Whatever brand you get, I'd suggest getting a two-piece suit rather than a single and get a size large enough to allow you to wear a jacket.
