low seat
You want a solo or a two-up, something for looks for just around town or will this be a primary seat for use all the time?
If you want a solo, look at LePera Bare Bones or Silhouette (www.lepera.com/dyna_detail.asp?id=14), C & C LoPro (http://www.ccseats.com/dyna.htm), or the Corbin Hollywood (http://www.corbin.com/harley/dyna/hdfxd6h.shtml).
I have the Bare Bones but have only put about 50 miles on it. It is very firm, but is not uncomfortable. I think it will accomplish my objective for a good looking seat foraround town rides.I do not think it will work for triple digit rides.
I had one fitted to my Fat Bob bike when I bought it because I've got short legs and the dealer suggested that it was lower and it would shift me forward to help me reach the contols. It was useless and I found it very hard and uncomfortable. Fortunately, the dealer threw it in for free. I've put the stock seat on and it's much better.
Low and comfortable was a real challenge for me.
I weigh 250 lbs so that didnât help matters any.
After trying out a few seats I finally sent a HD Solo Sundowner
Seat to Mean City Cycles. They did a great job cutting it down
and adding a memory foam, works for me.
Looks and comfort arenât always compatible.
