Rinehart 2into1 for 06 Dyna
Has anyone tried the new Rinehart 2 into 1 for the 06 streetbob, I ordered an a/c kit, the pipe and a techclusion efi tuner, The dealer is telling me I have to remap the efi but isn't this what the techclusion does? Am I just being asked to pay for something I don't need. I am thinking that no stock harley map will suit the Rinehart pipe and by using the techlusion I can get it just right, anyone tried this, any advice.

If you use the tuner,I am almost positive you dont need the D/L.........it doesnt make any sense. I think they are just trying to sell you somthing that you dont need.

Well the TFI only adds fuel right? I thought I read that it only adds fuel to keep cost down. I like the thought of knowing I can retune or adjust as needed. I am starting to like the Rineharts 2into1 more and more.

Thanks for the update, now I realise why the TFI says that it works best with the stock EFI settings, if it can only add fuel this makes sense, as if I do a stage 1 then the TFI it would probably add too much fuel and cause it to run rich.

The stock tune is pretty lean. It will be very lean with the rhineharts and a/c. As I understand it, the stage 1 download is designed for SE a/c and SE slip on pipes, but is also pretty lean. I've read here that the download just doesn't work well BUT, the download also advances the timing and extends the red line, which are probably good features. Although I am curious about how Techlusion handles the O2 sensor input. Or maybe it doesn't matter?
I would do the download, install the new parts, then tune as needed with the Techlusion part.

You can have the download installed and then go with the Techlusion, or you can not, either way. The TFI/DFO sends a signal to the injectors to stay open for milliseconds longer, then what the ECM map sends. It will add phuel no matter what map is installed.
The new unit phor the 06 dynas has a set of connectors that attach to the O2 sensor and traps the signals, then sends a result to the ECM telling it it is getting exactly what it expects.
