so today was nice on lunch, i grabbed my bike... rodeto work... i get to the office lot and this guy on a Slop tail pulls into the spot next to me with some chick on the back with his buddy on a sporty. I give him a nod and smile. This is when he becomes an idiot. The@$$ says "look at this "jim"(his buddy i guess)yet another one... you can pull the stickers off thetank but it is still a honda" and gives a head nod to my bike... I lost it... i just start laughing and laughing... finally i can control my humor to let the idiot know IT IS a harley, and he is an idiot! his liscence plate had a trim ring that said MY CUSTOM RIDE... i just laughed and asked him if his "LIVE to ride" derby cover made it a custom bike... whatan idiot... but the best part of the story... THE GIRL ON THE BACK OF HIS BIKE ASKED TO TAKE A PICTURE ON MINE!!! AHHH IT WAS SO SO SWEET! man it blows my mind how people are idiots... my buddies on honda's get it all the time... really makes me mad! many of them dont like to ride with us on our Harleys cause of the way they get treated... I can not blame them...please guys if you are one of these"only Harley" guys keep itto yourself you just give the rest of us a bad name and in most cases just look like an IDIOT!
I could care less what people ride. It is interesting to see the different attitudes. The couple that bought my wife's Kawasaki Vulcan 500 always wore full helmets and totally different jackets.
But they are out there riding. The woman already put 700 miles on the bike.
You got to be kidding me? He thought your Dyna was a Honda? ...........Dude..........get out much!
He must of been a new rider and bought a Harley. Some of the worst "Harley or Nothing Guys" are first time riders. Most riders that have ridden all their lives won't run a Jap bike or what not down because they have owned them before they ever owned a Harley. When I was 16 I had a Yamaha 650 Heritage. Dude It was all I could afford, and I was damn proud of that bike. I put drag bars on it and lowered it out. It wasn't much but it was mine!
To many asswipes on this planet............I say we organize a hunting party!
he said he did not see the logos for harley... that is why he mistaked it... happens to the best of us... i laughed and said NEVER happened to me or any of the crew i ride with... harley is a look... then i explained to him how liquid cooled bikes work and that is what that "fence looking thing" on the front of the down tubes are (had to show him what down tubes are) he was just an idiot... obviously one of the upper management "know it all" types that got called out... PUNKED is what i belive it is called! should be funny in the summers after work when i walk out to 20 bikes waiting on me to get off work to ride... then we can see what he says about being a "real biker" ha ha ha idiot!
I have owened all kinds of metrics and loved them all .
I happen to ride with a club that requries you to own a Harley but no one in it ever says any thing bout other riders and what they ride .
unless they are a real *** and pulling that harley riders are dirtbag sh&* . but it dont take em long to relize that they should have kept there mouth shut .
shoot my mom anf her boy friend both ride V Stars and I would bet my mom could out ride most these wanna bs anyday the week .
but my stance is as long as your rideing it dont matter what ya on.
