find an old school round stone guard from a jeep wrangler... it will work just fine brother!

This might be a dumb question but I am looking to do the same thing and was wondering how would you attach it? does it just screw on?

This is my homemade powder coated grill wrapped around my lens.

You can go to JP cycles.com also and search for headlight grill.

 

I used one of the eBay stone guards. A little expensive but not too many choices out there for a u.s supplier. The mounting tabs that most of these come with wont work on our buckets because of the clearance between the mounting ring is too tight. I used some black string tie threaded through the slits in the mounting ring tabs in four equa distant spots, attached the ring and then tied the grill in four places real tight. It hugs the headlight real close and u can't even see where I tied it. It's on there pretty solid.

 

I love the look, but it must be a PITA to keep the headlamp clean. Even worse for those with headlamp recessed into the quarter fairings.

 

and what about the tandoor?
