They are small ceramic beads that you pour in with an applicator right down the valve stem. On the site you look at the chart for your tire size and order the correct weight. My 03 WG takes 2oz in the rear and 1oz in the front. They are supposed to find their happy spot at around 15 mph and give you perfect tire balance. Great for tube or tubeless tires and very cheap. Keeps the ugly weights of your wheels also. Haven't tried mine yet, waiting to change my rear and then I'll post my opinion.
Yeah Yeah...I know, sounds like a croc. But I can do everything else with regards to tire changing so if I can get away with not going to a shop to balance then I'll give them a try. Go to the tech or do it yourself forum and you'll find lots of info there. BTW, my manual doesn't tell me the interval miliage to change out my blinker fluid, I assume it gets done at the 1000mi service and again every 5000? lol

(Not endorsing it; I've never used one. I'm happy having someone else do it.)
Re: blinker fluid: don't waste your money on Harley blinker fluid -- it doesn't cost enough. Get AMSoil Shockpruf and impress your buddies with your descriminating taste. Plus you can go 10,000 blinks between changes.
It says in the manual to use a left handed wrench to remove plug on the bottom of blinker to drain fluid. I cant find a wrench like that and no drain plug. please help
the left handed wrench is HD Pt No. 1187-04 in the tool catalog. If your bike is newer than 03 then the fluid is drained by cutting all the wires in the service loop tucked in the rear fender behind the wheel. All blinker fluid is contained in the wires themselves to help cool the harness, prevent chaffing and, of course, lubricate the blinkers. Hope this helps.
I installed 4oz of these in my truck tires and got tired of it after the first 15 mins and my arms going to sleep.
HINT:
Take an engraver and turn it on against the side of the tube the beads are going down or against the side of the valve stem itself. This will keep them from clogging the valve stem and speed the process. An extra pair of hands will make it easier but it's do-able by yourself with patience. Even with this technique it took me over 2 hours to fill all four tires on my truck (20" wheels don't balance too easy in all cases)
They offer special valve stems that "won't get clogged by the beads" but 2 of the four I purchased failed and started leaking after a few months. Not worth it. I've got standard stems in now and never have any issues.
Give this a try... I'll be ordering my DynaBeads before I mount my tires and will pour them in before I set the bead... much easier!!
THESE ARE NOT FOR USE IN TUBED TIRES... TUBELESS ONLY GUYS!!!
