hey guys, i amnew to this site. so far i like this site. i do have a ? what wax do i use onmy bike. itsabout 6 months old and i use miro fiber rages and now it is a new season of riding and i noticed i have micro fine scratches when the sun hits it. i want a good protecant on the paint what would you recommend?
Wax won't do much to prevent micro scratches. They are normally a result of using a dirty rag to wipe down the paint, or dirt on the paint when you wipe it down.
3M makes a product called Microfina Perfect-it which is good for removing light scratches. I typically use Mequiar's Polish, then Microfina, then Mequiar's NXT wax. Keeps my VIvid Black looking great and pretty much scratch free.
Zaino..........http://www.zainostore.com/ I've been using it for the past eight years, best stuff I've ever used, and their Z-8 detailer is unbelievable. Here's some photos from their customers.
Meguiars scratchX will take out those washing scratches. Just need plenty of elbow grease. I used Meguiars #7 polish then their Liquid NXT and was very happy with the results.
