Today my ignition swich cover cracked off when I opened it.
LuckilyI did not lose the pin, but the little tack weld on the top cracked. Now its very loose and I will lose the pin.
Do they sella replacement cover?
I think your switch probably mounts to a bracket on the tank, or to the console with some screws. Should not be a difficult replacement.
Hope someone with a 2005 WG jumps in here. Sure not a big deal.
Switch wires should just plug in.
It looks like two bolts will lift the console. I dont know what it looks like under there.
Looking at the switch on eastern performance, I think it will be plug and play.........I hope
Just a thought.....if you go aftermarket for the switch, you will need 2 keys to unlock your scoot, that is if you lock your forks.
Respects,
Ed
i was told in a thread awhiel back that you can rekey the new switch to use your old key i think if i rember right the guy said $30 or so at a locksmith shop
