I was actually going to buy a brand new Pewter Denim Street Bob went I went to the dealership. Loved it, couldn't wait. Then the sales rep showed me a used onethey had just gotten in, that had the exhaust, stage 1, pegs grips etc, so I ended up with that in Black Denim. Saved myself a ton of scratch, since many things had already been added. But, everytime I see a Pewter one, especially when it is being blacked out, there's that "what if?" Oh well, live and learn.
i also am a big fan of the exhuast! the turn sigs look great! how do you like that motherswell rack? i just ordered one...it looks good on your bike
Thanks! I love my motherwells rack. I use it quite often to haul my lunch cooler, etc to work, among other things. I also have grown accustomed to the look - I've taken the rack off a few times, only to feel 'naked' without it and end up putting it right back on. [8D]

were those 16 gimps?
what size cables did you go with?
Yep - those are 16" gimps, bought directly from Nash this past xmass (thanks, Dad!!!). All cables/lines are Magnum Sterling Chromite II's. I went with +6 cables and a two piece 'designer series' front brake line. The lower brake line is stock length and connects b/w the caliper and lower triple tree. The upper line I chose is 25" in length. It is a perfect fit. The +6 cables are just a tad long for my taste, but I decided to error on the side of too long vs. being too short and having to return everything. I didn't have to extend the wiring - plenty of slack. Keep in mind, the Gimps are measured a tad differently than other Apehangers - on the small size. So these 16" Gimps would be closer in size to a 14.5-15" set of "normal" apehangers.
