Well guys, I waited 3 LONG weeks to get her back but she looks freekin' awesome! Guess it was worth the wait...what'd ya think?

Looks great. Having any trouble seeing behind you in your mirrors now? When I had my bars changed, I could no longer see behind me in the stock mirrors, so just curious.

 

Yup! I've really gotta bend in my elbows to even get a small glimpse of what's behind me! Funny thing is is that was going to probably be my next mod! I really like the H-D bullet mirrors, but now I'm wondering if that's going tomake iteven worse?

 

I had to get something that extended out a bit - Kury elipse mirrors.

 

Ya, I'd kinda liked to know if I was getting pulled over or if someone was riding my ***!

When compared to the stock buckhorns, the difference is night & day! With the buckhorns I felt like I was pushing a wheel barrel with my hands being down low instead of up & high. I feel like I have better control of the bike now with the SS's than with the bucks too. You've definately gotta reach-out more with these bars compared to the bucks, but as with anything else you'll get used to it. Alot of people hated ridin' my bike with the buckhorns on it.I used to constantly hear "How can ride this bike like this with these bars"? Where as with me, I was just used to them & rode with ease. They definately feel alot different than the bucks, but I love 'em & and I'm very happy with the way they look on the bike.
