BLACK DRAIN/OVERFLOW?
WHAT IS THE BLACK PLASTIC OVERFLOW TUBE IN FRONT OF THE REAR WHEEL ON A FXDC? I AM CURIOUS AS TO WHERE IT GOES,IT LOOKED LIKE MINE HAD A SPOT ON THE FLOOR UNDER IT,AND IT ALMOST SMELLED LIKE GASOLINE.

It's your fuel tank vent hose. If you overfill your tank it will vent gas out under the bike. I filled my bike up while sitting on it one time and filled it up to the top. I rode about a mile home and parked it and a couple of minutes later I had a nice puddle of gas on my garage floor. I always fill my bike on the kickstand now and don't try to top it off too much.
