No I'm kidding....but I really don't like it when only the front wheel is changed. To me if the front is changed so should the rear. It's like putting fround effects on only the front of a vehicle...to me it doesn't look right.
if you do it go with the first one... but CHANGE THERE REAR!!! even if you get a solid rear that would look better, your also going to have to take all the crap and emblems off your tank cause the front wheel is so clean, so are the forks and then the tank is so busy... just pulls the eye away from the awesome(ness) of the wheel.. man only putting 1 wheel on is like the highschool kid that couldnot wait to get rims so he bought two and put those on and then took off hishub caps and told people they where racing tires in front... youmay not think anyone will notiec...but you will!..when i did my twisted i was only going toput them on front not the rear casue you cannot see them as well...Ed told me best," you will look at it EVERY time and wish you did it right " i have twisted front and rear
Yeah someone mentioned the solid wheel. That wouldn't be as bad. Correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe a Sportster rear solid wheel is a direct fit.
grubby kindly did some photoshop work for me. What do you think?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you haven't actually changed your wheels, right? The photoshop work is just to see which wheel would look the best on the bike. I assume that the rear wheel wasn't photoshopped due to the difficulty and, if I'm right, you aren't going to change just the front wheel, but both.
If grubby wrote a program to show how different wheels looked like on "any" bike, he would be rich. Similar to HD's customizer.
I am planning to install the same wheel on front and back. I am not going to do it half @$$. I just had the photoshop work done to see how it would look on my ride.
