Default exhaust packing
anyone replaced the fiberglass packing on their exhaust baffles? i am replacin it on my vnace && hines short shots. packing came with no instuctions. my question is do i need to tape it on and what do i tape it with.

appreciate any info. got a flat last night, just got it back on, changed the fluids and ready to go for a ride.

Taping it will make it easier to slide the baffle back in. You can just use some masking tape.....it will burn off easily. The ease of installation is the only reason for using anything at all.

+1. I just used some packing tape I had left over from moving. It's burns off fast.
