Got one. Like it. I don't think it looks too big for the bike. If you want to see a seat that looks out of place on a Dyna, try a HD Sundowner.I like it so much, I'm thinking of buying the same model with the backrest for long hauls.
Thanks for all the input and pics. I placed my order today through CycleSpot ($368 +free S/H). The Mustang Factory is 10 miles from my house but they won't sell them from there.Go figure!
Thanks again.

Good choice. Got my standard solo from Mustang at their tent in Sturgis last year. Nice thing about that was that they had all their seats & options to try on the bike and they shipped my stock seat home for free. Bought the passenger pillion (Why, I dont know - wife won't ride) and the fender bib. Can go for hours in comfort.
Mine is the standard classic, not the wide, but I have had the wide on other bikes and it is top notch. This classic came from American Classic Motors $225. It's 1 piece, my wides were 2 piece.
I've got the wide solo studded which is basically the same as what you're looking at. If you're a bit wider of girth this is the seat for you. If not, go with the standard width seat. I find mine quite comfortable for rides measured in multiple hours.
.
I should have added that I also have the "thin" passenger pillion. It's just what I wanted as it looks great and I will rarely have a passenger but should I want to give a ride the Mustang thin rear seat, which really is a lot more comfortable that it sounds, will do quite nicely.
Seat arrived today. Looks surprisingly good on my FXD. Nice comfort right out of the box. I'll ost apic soon and keep you posted as I break it in.
Ride safe.

I've got the Mustang Wide Vintage Solo and love it. It was comfortable out of the box and is great for longer rides. Personally, I like the look of the Wide Vintage. Looks kind of like the old tractor seats from the earlier models.
Mustang Classic on 04 LowRider with studs. Shaved it down about two inches or more and had it rerap, made me sit too high went right over seat and on fender first ride..lol. Of course always in throttle dont help.
