You can go to the HD website and compare specs. But, the rear fender is different, the motor is black powder coated vs. grey/silver on the SG's, the front end is completely different including the amount of rake, forward controls are standard. And there are several different things as a result of those differences that cause a lot of accessories to be separated for the WG vs. the other dyna's as well.

Don't even start, though, trying to find the dollar differences between some of the models. Apparently, it must cost at least 2 grand more to black powder coat the engines because the models with the black motors are all more than the SG's. I'm just kidding of course but go figure that...

Take the Street Bob vs. the Super Glide for example, or better yet, the Super Glide custom. When compared piece by piece, there is nothing about the Bob that should make it cost significantly more than the FXDC. But, it does. Some of it has to do with demand.

Like I said, though, don't bother trying to do the math, it will drive you nuts and leave you with no answers. Sure, there are differences between all of them but you can't really find them in terms of dollars and cents.

Fuel tank is shaped differently, fenders are shaped differently, rake & fork width is different, bars are stock mini-apes on the wide glide versus buckhorns on the FXD, tire sizes I believe are smaller on the wide glide...ect. The Wide Glide is kinda the self-proclaimed "King of the Dyna Family" & supposed to be the best all-around handling bike of the Dyna family. I've ridden one alot as my Dad has an '02.

Oh and don't forget the ever important 21" front wheel.
Lot's of chrome vs. other Dyna's (except FXDC). My FXDBI was nearly chromeless.

Themini-apes are also larger diameter than the ones on the Street Bob and have internal wiring.

I'll put my FXDC up against either one as far as looks & riding comfort go!

When compared to a FXD, its almost 3 grand. I thought that was a little steep for a can of black spray paint and extra chrome I didnt want

I'd have to say the biggest differences bewteen each different Dyna model is simply in the way that each feels when you sit on it. ILOVE both the Street Bob & Low Rider...but I would never buy either one only because how small each bike feels to me. I didn't buy a Wide Glide for 2 reasons...I liked how the FXDC felt better when I sat on it & my Dad has one.
