looks real good....but that looks like a yamaha symbol on your derby cover. What is it's significance, or any??
While I have nothing against Yamaha it has nothing to do with them. I ripped it off from a Swedish band called Cult of Luna. Used to listen to them all the time and that's there group symbol. Thought it would look cool on my bike so I had azece.com custom cut it.
Great looking bike! I see that you removed the front fender and the rear turn signals -- I'm doing the same thing as we speak. Where did you get that side mount license plate?
Good looking scoot. It is hard to believe the lowers are not chrome. Must have taken a lot of elbow grease to get them here. I have a couple of questions though. What about turn signals ? Are they in a panacea tail light ? Also please tell me about the seat. Is it the new Mustang ? I like the looks of both-no turn signals and barely there seat.
The taillight is a panacea model. Purchased from Custom Dynamics. I need to get the little chrome pieces that cover the holes in the fender strut but haven't tracked them down yet. The seat is a C&C, I can't remember the model name. The license plate holder I fab'd from the fenderbrackets that came on the bike stock. I just used what I needed and welded it directly to the end of the swingarm. I'm going to replace it with a decent looking frame as soon as I find one I like that isn't over $100.
Polishing the forks was time consuming but not necessarily hard. Lots of threads on that subject. One of the best and oldest was by a forum member named TOMMAY. Do a search if you're interested. Also a soft high speed polishing wheel like the kind that attaches to a heavy duty grinder will make the work go way faster and way shinier.
