I ordered a package deal, so I don't know the exact measurements on them.

I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to pick up cables and brake line, any opinions on what sizes I should run on a 05 fxd with 14" apes.

You can save money and hassle by ordering up a Burly cable kit.
www.burlybrand.com

With that said... you can also run some kite string, measuring tape, or whatever you feel like using along where you're going to run the cables then measure that and have your lengths.

I went with the 14" kit from Burley, too long IMO. Could have done well with the 12" kit, but it is what it is......

If you are using 14" bars then order the kit for 12" apes. 14" are way too long. I just did it and gonna have to switch out the throttle and idle cables from being too long.

Agreed, my throttle and idle are doable, but too long. Clutch cable is way too long, bows out pretty far in front. Just really dont want to drop the dime on getting new ones nor do I look forward to taking off the exhaust again. Some day.........
