Just saying hi! New here but not to bikes, I have been riding for about 20 years...since I was 8. This is my first Harley, got it a few weeks ago.
2003 FXDWG
Just wondering, Does anyone have an extra or take off factory kickstand for this bikethey want to sell? The previous owner bent mine. Any idea if kick stands from other models will work? Which ones? Thanks!!
Nice looking scoot you have there.
Howdy and Welcome, from Michigan.
Not sure what other years/models might cross over.
I got one off my '06 Street Bob if it will fit your bike.
Welcome from Georgia...bike was obviously well kept, I like the color combo.
Actually, it didnt seem that way at all. I have all the service records and one of the recipts says "customer needs to protect bike from the elements" It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in the last year.....or two.
On the plus side of things, I got a bike that hadnt been modified in any way and I got all the service records. I know the bike is solid and been mechanically taken care of. It has 16k miles on it.....I only paid $10k
My dad and I spent 4 hours polishing all the chrome, then my dad spent the following day cleaning the engine and polished all the chrome again. It took alot of elbow grease but it looks great now.
I really feel like I saved an important piece of history...It would have been worthless in 5-10 years the way it was being treated.
