surging idle
My 07 street bob has been surging at idle alot after it's warmed up. I am running V&H Big Radius 2:1 with a high flow air cleaner and a V&H fuelpak set at the appropriate setting for the pipe. It seems a little rich due to the black soot build up in the outlet of the pipe and lately it has been surging occassionally as well as when coming to a stop it starts idling really low as if it's about to stall out. I have cleaned the air filter and the Idle Air Control motor circuit vacuum ports to make sure they were free from dirt and particulate build up and I have been experimenting with some other maps for different 2:1 pipes and am running the fuel map for the V&H Propipe right now with excellent results. The surging seems to have stopped but the low idle returns every now and then when coming to a stop after the bike is warmed up. What controls the High idle speed when cold and has anyone else had this particular problem?

Novacuum leaks but reprogrammed the fuel map and surging has seemed to stop. What about the low idle and what sensor controls the fast idle warm up? I believe it's the oil temp but just wanted a confirmation on it.
