Try a pair of vantage riding/sunglasses the web site is vantage vision.com I believe. I pick a set of these up at the leesburg bikefest and I will tell you there is not another pair I would even consider after wearing these. The tearing of your eyes will no longer be, I am not easy to impress but I will tell you these are great glasses even for the 120.00 they cost.
Panoptix with transitional lenses, only have to have one pair for the day and night. The foam cups keep the wind out of my eyes, very important as i wear contacts. Bought for $100 on closeout at ROT.
+2
Have two pair and love'em. I wear contacts and have no problem with them.
I got a pair of Wiley X with Light adjusting lens and a removable foam piece that keeps are from going into your eyes. They have several different styles and these fit the shape of my face. Cost was 121.00 but well worth it to have one pair for day or night that actually work.
I have Pan optics,Scoops,and Wiley X's.
Beware of glasses for riding without frames. The safety glasses pictured will cut the **** out of your face if you take a shot just right. For the proper fit,you really gotta try them on to see how they rest on your face.
Any of the brands mentioned here as RIDING glasses are a good choice.
I know the Wiley X's are used by the military and are the **** when it comes to riding for long periods.
I had a rock kicked up by a truck glance off my helmet rim and graze myglasses.Man I thought it had cut my damn nose off but it just scratched the Wiley's.Im not sure how it would have fared with a direct hit,but Im sure glad I had them on whenI did.The Pans have shatter proof lenses but I dont think they would have held up like those did.
