Default New Pipes Again...

Well, I've changed my pipes again. These are the Big Growl Upswept Long Barrels.

They are made for the Softail but I just had to play around with the OEM mounting bracket and bend it up real good.

Also put in the Big City Thunder QQ Baffles. These things are GREAT. They knock it down a couple of decibles (notice I said a couple) and give it a great deep rumble. I also like the added back pressure (will make it easier to tune the EFI).

Now I just have to start selling off the stockpile of pipes that I have here.

That is awesome! I love upswept pipes. I wish they made some for dyna's. I think it looks very old school. Awesome bike man, ride hard!

Looks Great, are you using a SERT for tuning? Will increase in back pressure help in tuning, why?

No, I'm using a Revtech DFO. The backpressure helps with the DFO because it makes it easier to find the low end range. With the DFO you are tuning by feel instead of a readout so it can be a pain in the *** sometimes.

I'm hoping to soon be able to take it to have it dyno tuned. I said that a long time ago but think that I have finally found the pipes that I want to keep on it.

As you can see, Softail pipes will fit on Dyna. When I get back from deployment I'm planning on installing this combination on my '05 Super Glide.

Sway,

Nice old school look, I have to be honest though, those short 2:1 you had on were awesome looking.
