Anyone carry an extra maxi fuse (40 amps) or have to change fuses on the road. I sure would hate to call a wrecker when I could just replace a fuse. 07 superglde custom

Icarry a 40 amp fuse and couple of spares in the fuse box as well asa starter and system relay in my toolkit.

Just got one about a month ago and put it in the electrical box cover, I am getting ready to go on a trip here Friday so I think I will get some of the other fuses also.

I carry extra with me. I neededone of the small ones3 weeks ago on a trip to San Antonio, TX.

I carry a set taped inside the fusebox cover. Don't carry any tools though.

I wonder how useful a 40 amp fuse is going to be? Fuses don't blow for no reason. If you can successfully blow a 40 amper, you've got a job in front of you beforethat spare fuse becomes useful.
