Injector Cleaner?
Let me give a slightly different approach to this.
I also have a 2001 Corvette. About 3 months ago the fuel gauge died, always read empty. I went to the vette forum and posted my problem. I figured $500 to drain the tank and install a new sender. I got several answers, all about the same product, Techron. It's made by Chevron Gas and is used in their gas. Too bad no Chevron stations anywhere near me, however it's available at several auto parts store as well as West Marine.
OK so I put a can in the tank and within 25 miles the gas gauge works fine. What I learned from the vette forum was that this new gas seems to have a slight sulpher residue which has 'clogged' electronic sensors in fuel tanks. I plan to use it every 6 months or so.
PS- while I don't have any issues with my 03 WG (carb engine) , I use Techron any way. It may be in my mind, but seems to run just a tad better.
My 2 cents worth.
Run it through my '69 Porsche 911 w/ webers. A lot of guys do.
Not sure if you all have noticed how quickly the newer formulations of gas seem to varnish and sludge so much faster. Seems like lately on little-used equipment, or seasonal stuff, (snowblower, chainsaw, etc.) gas goes bad much quicker. Pulling carbs and cleaning jets and passages seems to be required a lot more now.

why it's a waste of time? I think that our gasoline is not the state of the art in fact of clean.. I think that every 10K miles it should help.
My oldest FI vehicle is 18 years old and still runs fine without ever having any cleaner added. Heck, even my bike has about 70k miles on it and has never had any miracle in a bottle put in it. It still runs great. BTW, I don't use any particular brand of gas either, just whatever is there when I need it.
I asked a friend, who is the parts manager at an HD dealership, about injector cleaners when I bought my bike. He said it was a no-no. ( for what it's worth I value his opinion on bikes)

That said, I don't think I'd use it unless I had a reason to think there's a problem.
If you want or elect to use the injetor cleaner just be mindful of your mixture ratio, do some math. I am also a believer in the quality of the name brand premium fuels i.e., Chevron, Shell, BP and others.
