Hi all,
I am thinking about getting the 3" extensions for my forward controls to give me a little more leg room. My concern is how they are going to look.
I was wondering if you could post some Pics of your bikes that have these extensions installed so i can see how they will look and your input on how you like or dislike them.
mine has them , i'm 6'4 so i need them . it made a whole world of difference , should have been the first thing i done.. oh and they replace the black brake rod with chrome and the shifter rod also... real nice ... mine are kuryakyn..
oh and here is how the other side looks ! not a very clear pic but you can kinda tell... and i mean 3" make alot of difference . if you are under 6'2 , you may not reach the controls.
Sorry I have no pics, But a buddy of mine just installed 3inch extensions on his softail standard and they look good. He is 6'5 and they really helped him strech out.
Thanks for the pic and great looking bike. couple of questions, roughly how much were the extensions? and what kind of seat is on your bike? is that stock? it looks like a longer seat than normal.
thanks...
your bike is sharp.. wish i had the blacked out engine. oh and the forward ext. were about $179 i think... the seat on my bike is a corbin gunfighter , and it is a little longer than stock... it comes with it own mount and locks on and off with a key... very comfortable seat... had a little trouble with it at first , had to bent the mount a little , but now works perfect.. hope this helps ya out...
