pcIII has o2 elininators does that mean i could probably run 05 pipes. Are the exhast mounting points different or will they not fit all together. I know there was a frame improvement but.....
you know i was pondering on this last night im going with the pc111 so yes you dont need the 02 bungs in the pipes as for the 05 pipes i dont know . i was thinking of takeing all that efi crap off and using a carberator does anyone know if this is possabke
I think the bracketry would be differnet at the very least. due to the 6 speed being a differnt shape. I'n not 100% ont his but its something to look into.
IF I remember correctly what I have read, the O2 eliminator simply ignores the results phrom the sensor to the ECM. I don't believe that means you can cut them out.
the install dirrections say no need for them anymore if you use them on a pipe with 02sensers than keep out of the way (melting resons i would imagine) go to dynojet.com and look under install directoins
The 06' is a different frame than the 05'. I don't think pipes for an 05' would fit. Yes, you could get rid of all of the EFI pieces, but it would be very expensive for you to try and stick a carb on there. Hope you guys figure it out, good luck.
I have the PCIII and yes, you can definately run without the O2 sensors if you plug the O2 "eliminators" in. In fact all the maps on the PC web site are for O2 eliminators INSTALLED. My main concern (from the pics I've seen of various 05 pipes) was being able to check the oil. It would be nice if someone out there has installed 05 pipes on an 06 to let us know how it worked out fit-wise.
they way i read it on install instuctions is you dont need the bungs in the pipe it eliminates them got to dynajet.com and go to the install instructions its adobe print out of the real instuctions
Some pics might help (that's a pennie). They just plug in. One under the seat and the other, under the front of the fuel tank. After that, you can do whatever you want with the sensors on the pipe; bung them up or leave 'em in. The choice is yours. They're not connected to anything anymore so it doesn't matter.
