So my Birthday is the 13th, tomorrow, but we celebrated on Sat with a big cook out and shared it with my son who is now 1!!!! Kid is crazy. But anyways some of the items I got were my front turn sig relocation, Black Levers, Fin covers, and some gift cards to harley. And all of the sudden today my hog_rida06 lay down plate comes in the mail today! Perfect timing. If only my lepera seat would hurry up. HAHA what else would I ask for. So there I was installing my stuff today when the levers went on perfect then comes the turn sig kit and I it a SNAFU. I am not one that has all the needed tools that harley says to buy. I usually use what I have and invent ways to get the job done. My stuggle was getting the wires out of the freakin white contraption. I had my Manuel first of all before yall start that comment. I am just not that inclined to know what the whole (amp multi-lock thingy was). Well I ended up getting it with a bobbing pin from the misses. HA I always find something to work. As soon as I got it I had to take off for work so Ill have to finish that install later. I love Harley Birthdays!!!!
I'm glad to hear the Bobbie Pin thing worked... we toiled over one of them for hours, tried many different stores for the tool, and I think ended up buyinga replacement 'cause we wrecked the part! Glad yours went so much more smoothly![sm=smiley20.gif]
and anyone wanting a laydown license plate bracket sould see hog rida06, I gotone from him too , it came in about two days, was twenty bucks including shipping and it looksgreat. So save your money on that Kuryaken (sp?) crap ..I would suggest putting rubber washers or spacers on the posts so it doesn't scratch your fender.
