I may sound like a broken record in the wilderness, but give your stock exhaust some miles. After about 600 miles my stock exhaust started sounding so much better, deeper, louder, and now in my opinion it's perfect: not loud LOUD but snarly deep.
I do plan on waiting till 1000 miles before and mechanical upgrades, so I will see how the exaust sounds after that. Wouldn't break my heart to keep the $$.
Great choice. That was my close runner up to my street bob choice. Great looking bike. Good luck in trying to make it to the 1000 mark. I made it to 500 mile before my stage 1. couldnt handle the quiet.
I have a feeling, but I will wait a bit...... Maybe do the flush gauge/gas cap first.....
Sun is coming out here in Seattle Thursday for a couple days so I hope to double the miles and get it in for the 500 mile service before the rain comes back......
