fork lock shaft not lineing up with groove in triple tree
hello all,
i am experiencing a problem with my forck lock, the ignition cylinder and key are working fine but was taking a closer look the lock shaft is out of alignment from the groove in the triple tree. my question, is it possible that the ignition has twisted some what out of wack to cause this or a sign of a bigger problem i can post pics if needed for a better understanding any help would be great thanks to all.

ok im answering my own question, just got back out there, taking a closer look at it. i was able to wrap a large flat head screwdriver with several layers of duct tape to keep from having metal to metal contact and was abel pryand rotate the steering lock shaft back to where its suppose to go. the whole ignition cylinder turned with it so.
